Stunning Yam Kaspers Ashel was crowned as the 1st runner-up of Malkat Ha Yofi 2016, Miss Israel 2016 at the end of the national event. She will now represent Israel in Miss Universe 2016, to be held later this year. This was the 67th edition of Miss Israel. She battled out 14 other contestants to claim the title of Miss Universe Israel 2016. She succeeds Avigail Alfatov as the new Miss Universe Israel.
At the same event, Karin Alia was crowned as the winner of Malkat Ha Yofi 2016, who will now represent Israel in Miss World 2016. Yam Kaspers Ashel is works as a model currently, so it is expected that she will do great on the stage of Miss Universe.
Israel has produced one Miss Universe, Rina Mor, in 1976. Gal Gadot famous for her role as Wonder women was also a Miss Israel winner, Gal represented Israel at Miss Universe 2004 in Ecuador, unfortunately she didn’t make the first cut.
