Miss Universe Puerto Rico 2016-Kristhielee Caride dethroned: According to reports in Puerto Rican media,Kristhielee will be dethroned at a press conference scheduled at 4 pm (Puerto Rican time) today. The reason of her dismal is that she was rude and arrogant to a journalist during a interview, although she wrote a letter apologizing to the journalist but the Miss Puerto Rico Organization headed by former Miss Universe Puerto Rico Desiree Lowry have made up their mind that Kristhielee will no longer hold the title or represent Puerto Rico at the upcoming Miss Universe pageant. 24- years-old 5ft 10 inches tall Kristhielee represented the province of Isabella at the Miss Universe Puerto Rico 2016 pageant last November.

“Beauty queens are not exempt from having a bad day and yesterday afternoon fell to me, perhaps between personal situations that you may have as a human being and “mortal” I let my feelings antepusieran before me work as Miss Universe Puerto Rico.I want to express my sincere apologies to the journalist Patricia Vargas of El Nuevo Dia, the organization of Miss Universe Puerto Rico and my director Desiree Lowry, all the fans and supporters who give me the strength every day to follow the “universal way “. While it is human to err, it is also courageous to acknowledge mistakes and want to remain an example of a real woman, with purpose that stays with heads held high extolling the Puerto Rican beauty. Thanks to the Miss Universe Organization Puerto Rico who do not hesitate to give me all the tools I need and support every step I’m taking. We follow with great focus and determination, working with more strength and momentum towards Miss Universe 2016. ”

The New Miss Universe Puerto Rico 2016- Brenda Jimenez.

According to rules her first runner-up  Miss Aguadilla, Brenda Jimenez will take over the title of Miss Universe Puerto Rico 2016 & will represent Puerto Rico at Miss Universe 2016 pageant. If Brenda refuses to accept the title then the second runner-up Miss San Juan wil take over the crown and responsibility of representing Puerto Rico. 20-year -old Brenda holds double degree in Biology & Psychology  this 5ft 10 inches tall stunner wants to become a neonatal pediatrician.
