Nuestra Belleza Uruguay 2016 will elect the representatives for Uruguay to Miss Universe and Miss World. In recent years, the winner is sent to Miss Universe and the runner-up goes to Miss World. Last year the winner of the pageant was Bianca Sanchez who could not place in Miss Universe 2015. The contestants of this year’s edition have been declared.

Nuestra Belleza Uruguay has been in existence since 1952. The headquarters are in Montevideo. They send representatives to Miss Universe, Miss World and Miss International. It is also called Miss Universo Uruguay Pageant. The pageant sends representatives to other pageants also, like Reina Hispanoamericana, Miss Continente Americano, Reinado Internacional del Café and Miss Maja Mundial.
