Lena Bröder, Miss Westdeutschland wins Miss Germany 2016!!!!!
Lena Bröder who represented Westdeutschland at Miss Germany 2016 defeated 23 other contestants to win the crown of Miss Germany 2016. Lena will know represent Germany at Miss Earth 2016 pageant later this year. The grand finale of Miss Germany took place on 20th February at Europa-Park Rust near Freiburg. Olga Hoffman,Miss Germany 2015 crowned Lena as her successor at the end of the event. The first runner-up crown went to Francesca Orru-Miss Schleswig-Holstein, where as the second runner-up title was awarded to Katharina Schubert-Miss Hessen.The Miss Earth Germany franchise was awarded to Miss Germany Corporation this year they had previously send delegates to Miss World & Miss Earth in 2013. Germany is yet to win a Miss Earth crown or enter the top 4 of the pageant.

26- year -old Lena hails from Nordwalde and is a teacher by profession, she teaches home economics and religious studies to school children in North Rhine Westfalia.This 5ft 7 inches beauty has been trying Miss Germany since 2009 this was her sixth attempt and she finally conquered the title. She has won Miss West Germany & Miss Goslar titles previously. She becomes the first ever teacher to win Miss Germany title in the history of the pageant. She enjoys equestrian sports and owns a pony. Lena will now travel to the Philippines to represent Germany at Miss Earth 2016 pageant.
