Sylvaine Leloum is Miss Chad 2016
Stunning 18-year-old Sylvaine Leloum was crowned as the winner of Miss Chad 2016, locally known as Miss Tchad 2016. She represented the region of Logone Occidental in the said pageant. The finale was broadcast live on national Tv channel ORNTV. With this title, she will now be representing her country in Miss World 2016. Sylviane Leloum shall now focus up on many welfare projects which could be taken up as her Beauty with a Purpose later on. Currently she is rumoured to be working on awareness against early marriage and Obstretic Fistula in Chad as a part of her Beauty with a Purpose project. She will also act as an ambassador of Toyota Yaris during her reign as Miss Chad 2016.
As a winner of the contest, Sylvaine Leloum shall receive a monthly salary of 500,000 CFA francs from the official sponsor of the pageant, Airtel, alongside a luxury accommodation. The runner ups of the pageant will receive 250,000 FCFA salaries per month. Chad has not been a very strong country when it comes to beauty pageants. However, considering she will be going to Miss World and the Chairwoman of Miss World, Julia Morley, focuses more on character and personality of the girl, we do feel Sylvaine might have a shot at getting a good placement.
