Pedro Mendes wins Mister International 2015
Pedro Mendes was declared as the winner of Mister International 2015 contest. He represented Switzerland in the contest. The finale was held at the Newport Performing Arts Theater in Resorts World Manila, Pasay City, Philippines. Mister International 2015 celebrated its 10th Anniversary. Pedro Mendes bested 35 other delegates to claim the title. He succeeded Neil Perez of the Philippines as the new Mister International. This is the first time Switzerland has won Mister International title. The show was telecast live on Rappler.
Pedro Mendes was asked by Francis Libiran: “If you were a world leader, what would you do to make a difference in the world?” He replied, “[If] You cannot be the best…you have to try to be the best. [I would like] to show you what I can do,”. At the same event, Anderson Tomazini from Brazil was declared as 1st runner-up, Sang Ji Lee from South Korea was declared as 2nd runner-up, Julian Torres from Panama was declared as 3rd runner-up and Jakub Kraus from Czech Republic was declared as 4th runner-up. The biggest shocker of the event was that major crowd favourite like Puerto Rico and Venezuela were omitted from the Top 5 line up to pavé the way for underdogs.

Miss Supranational Switzerland 2015 Catarina Lopes, who is Girl friend of Pedro Lopes got extremely emotional on hearing the news of her boyfriend winning the contest. She is currently competing in the pageant at Warsaw, Poland.
Mister international is considered as one of the most prestigious male pageants along with Mister World and Manhunt International. It is owned and organized by the Mister International Organization which also organizes the annual Mister Singapore pageant. The organisation is headed by Mr. Alan Sim
