Miss World China 2015: Yuan Lu

Yuan Lu has been chosen as the winner of Miss World China 2015 title.  She will be representing People’s Republic of China in Miss World 2015 in Sanya, China.  She is 21 years old and stands 1.77 m tall.

Yuan Lu will be considered among the favorites of Miss World 2015.  Girls from People’s Republic of China have always done well in Miss World pageant, especially when the pageant is held in China.  In 2003, when Miss World was held in China, Miss World China Guan Qi was the second runner-up.  In 2004, Miss World China Yang Jin was the 9th runner-up.  In 2007, Miss World China Zhang Zilin was 2nd runner-up in Beach Beauty and the winner of Top Model, of course in addition to winning the title of Miss World 2007.  Again, Miss World 2012 was held in China and Miss World China Yu Wenxia won the title.  Many times pageant fans have opined that Miss World pageant has been partial towards China whenever the pageant was held in the country.  This is one of the reasons why Yuan Lu will be considered a favorite for the country by many.  However, TGPC does not endorse this opinion.  Both, Yu Wenxia and Zhang Zilin were fabulous choices for the Miss World title and deserved every inch of the success they achieved.

Winning in Miss World 2015 will be a challenge for Yuan Lu because this year’s edition is one of the toughest in the recent years.  Brazil is sending a bomb-shell by the name Catherine Choi who is currently said to be the front-runner for Miss World 2015 title.  Miss World America 2015 Victoria Mendoza, Femina Miss India 2015 Aditi Arya, Miss South Africa 2015 Liesl Laurie, Miss World Australia 2015 Tess Alexander, Miss Ecuador Camila Maranon, Miss France Hinarere Taputu, Miss Mexico Yamelin Ramirez and Miss Thailand Thunchanok Moonnilta are some of the other front-runners at the moment.
