Miss Universe Poland 2015: Weronika Szmajdziñska
Weronika Szmajdziñska from Szczecin is appointed as Miss Universe Poland 2015. She was chosen as Miss Teen Poland 2011 and then went on to represent Poland at Miss World 2012. The franchise for Miss Poland Universe has been taken by Miss Polski organization. Since the pageant will be held on 6th December 2015, Weronika Szmajdziñska has been hand-picked as the representative for this year. Weronika Szmajdziñska will compete at Miss Universe 2015 in Las Vegas, Navada. The finals are scheduled on 20th December 2015. The grand finale will witness the crowning of new Miss Universe by Miss Universe 2014 Paulina Vega. This pageant will be special because it is the first year of Miss Universe with Donald Trump in a long time. This is the first year of IMG/WME as the owner of the pageant.
Weronika Szmajdziñska has the chance to be the first Miss Universe from Poland. Poland has cracked Top 5 in Miss Universe for 3 times. They last made the semi-finals in Miss Universe 2012. In Miss Universe 2013, Miss Poland Paulina Krupinska was a big favorite. She was also considered the Face of the Pageant by many. However, she could not place in the Top 16. She won Miss Photogenic award though.
Weronika Szmajdziñska will be having a tough way at Miss Universe 2015. Many strong girls are competing at the pageant.
