Caley-Rae Pavillard wins Miss Colorado USA 2016
Caley-Rae Pavillard defeated forty five other contestants to wear the crown of Miss Colorado USA 2016. Caley will now represent Colorado at the Miss USA 2016 pageant next year. Caley was crowned by the outgoing queen Talyah Polee Miss Colorado USA 2015. The first runner up crown went to Sarah Courtney and Krystal Harrelson bagged the second runner up crown. In the same event Alexis Wynne bagged the crown of Miss Teen Colorado USA 2016. Alexis will now represent Colorado at Miss Teen USA 2016 pageant next year.
Colorado has never won the Miss USA crown. Highest placement for the state has been the third runner up crown which they won twice in 1963 Rhea Looney and in 2010 Jessica Hartman. Colarado has made it to the top 10 only thrice Debbie James in 1989, Tiani Jones in 2000 and Marybel Gonzalez in 2012. The state has entered the Top 15 six times. Miss Colorado USA 1971 Diane Knaub and Miss Colorado USA 1998 Crystal Grove are recipients of Miss Congeniality awards at Miss USA pageant. Katee Doland -Miss Colorado USA 2001 and Susan Hawkins Miss Colorado- USA 1969 are the recipients of Miss Photogenic award winners from Colorado.

22 year old Caley-Rae Pavillard hails from Castle Rock. She was Miss Colorado’s outstanding Teen 2008 she represented Colorado at Miss America’s Outstanding Teen 2008 .She also represented Colorado at Miss Teen USA 2011 where she placed in the semi finals. She is model working with dragonfly agency in Dallas. She also works as a teacher at Pure Barre Dallas.
