Debbie Collins has finished second in the Most Beautiful Girl of Nigeria 2015 beauty pageant yesterday and has now the chance to represent Nigeria at Miss Universe 2015 pageant. The finals of the Miss Universe 2015 pageant will be held in Las Vegas, Nevada in the United States of America on 20th December, 2015. The venue is not 100 % fixed although as per reports it will be in the US only. At the end of the lavish finals, Paulina Vega of Colombia will be crowning her successor.

Debbie Collins is 23. She represented Ebonyi state in the pageant. She stands 5 feet 8 inches tall. Debbie Collins will be succeeding Queen Celestine who won the prestigious Miss Congeniality title at Miss Universe 2014-2015 pageant. Nigeria is participating in Miss Universe since 1987. There has been only one placement for the country and that was achieved by Miss Universe Nigeria 2001 Agbani Darego who finished 7th overall. Later she won Miss World 2001 title becoming the first black African beauty to achieve the feat of winning Miss World. Apart from Queen, Toyin Raji also won Miss Congeniality. She did that in year 1995. Sophie Gemal, Miss Universe Nigeria 2011, was Top 10 in Best in National Costume round.
Debbie Collins will be having a tough way at Miss Universe 2015. Many strong girls are competing at the pageant. Miss Universe Indonesia Anindya Kusuma, Miss India Urvashi Rautela, Miss Universe Colombia Ariadna Gutierrez, Miss Universe Thailand Aniporn Chalermburanawong, Miss Universe Peru Laura Spoya, Miss Universe Australia Monika Radulovic, Miss Universe Puerto Rico Catalina Morales, Miss Universe Venezuela Mariana Jimenez, Miss Universe Myanmar May Barani Thaw, Miss Universe Vietnam Pham Thi Huong, Miss Universe Jamaica Sharlene Radlein, Miss Universe Spain Carla Garcia, Miss Universe Sweden Paulina Brodd, Miss Universe Great Britain Nena France, Miss Universe South Africa Liesl Laurie, Miss USA Olivia Jordan and Miss Universe Canada Paola Nunez Valdez are some of them.
