Reinas de Costa Rica chose their Winners for 2015
Angelica Reyes wins Reinas de Costa Rica 2015
In a magnificent ceremony held at Costa Rica, Reinas de Costa Rica organisation crowned their winners for the pageants of 2015. The have elected 7 beauty queens who will now represent Costa Rica in various pageants this year. The finale was At the coronation ceremony held at Sheraton hotel. The main winner of Reinas de Costa Rica was Angelica Reyes who was crowned as the representative of Costa Rica for Miss World 2015 to be held in China later this year. Angelica is a student studying nutrition and comes from Perez Zeledon. The director Allan Aleman mentioned that their selection process is very complicated and it involves focusing on every minute details about the delegates and they make sure that the winner has all the qualities that is required to stand out at international pageant. However, Costa Rica doesn’t have much successful record at Miss World contest. They have had only 3 semi finalists till date.
Apart from Angelica Reyes, there were 6 other girls who were chosen to represent Costa Rica at various pageants. Melania Gonzalez was crowned to represent Costa Rica at Miss International 2015 to be held in Japan on 5th November 2015. Costa Rica has two winners – Lorna Marlene Chávez (1980) and Gidget Sandoval (1983). Whereas Andrea Rojas was crowned to represent Costa Rica at Miss Earth 2015 to be held in Austria later this year.
The other queens who were crowned were Lizbeth Valverde who will represent Costa Rica at Miss Intercontinental 2015, to be held in Germany later this year. Mariela Aparicio was chosen to represent Costa Rica at Miss Grand International 2015, to be held in Thailand later this year. Raquel Guevara will represent at Miss Panamerican 2015 and finally Brenda Munoz will represent at Miss Tourism International 2015 to be held in Malaysia.
Costa Rica is out of Miss Universe race this year as they have withdrawn from the contest over the comments of Donald Trump on Mexicans. Do you think these girls can make Costa Rica proud by winning the international title?
