Ana Choi is Miss International Macau 2015! [Photos]
Ana Choi has won the title of Miss International Macau 2015. She is 24 and 1.73 m tall. She has earned a tourism degree at International Hotel Management Institute in Lucerne,Switzerland and organizes hotel events. She can speak 4 languages. She has worked at Wynn in Macau. Ana Choi will be representing Macau at Miss International 2015. The pageant will take place on 5th November, 2015 at Shinagwa Prince Hotel Hall in Tokyo, Japan. This will be the 55th edition. Valerie Hernandez of Puerto Rico will be crowning her successor.
Ana Choi will be facing very strong competition at Miss International 2015 this year. Edymar Martinez of Venezuela is big front-runner of the crown. So is Lindsay Becker of the United States of America. However, one girl who for sure will place and do exceptionally well in the finals is Janicel Lubina of Philippines. Macau is a weak sash in pageantry. Hence the task in front of Ana Choi would be herculean. It would not be easy to place in the Top 15 at the first place. Nevertheless it is not impossible either.
Ana Choi can really stir things up well for Macau because the country has really made no mark in pageantry by far. Miss Macau has always been seen in Miss World pageant in recent years. In fact they are present in the contest since 1986. However, Miss Macau winners have never placed at Miss World! The maximum accomplishment by a Miss Macau winner in Miss World was in the year 2012 when Winnie Sin was Top 15 in the talent competition. Winnie Sin had impressed the watchers during the talent round of Miss World 2012, however she could not crack the Top 5. The Top 5 consisted of China, Jamaica, Norway, Paraguay & Philippines. Eventually Miss People’s Republic of China, Yu Wenxia won the talent round. This was no surprise because Wenxia was nationally known for her singing. She also won the Miss World 2012 title in finals.
Best wishes to Miss International Macau Ana Choi for bringing prestige to her land!
