Linda Gatere, Elaine Wairimu Mwangi, Eunice Atien Onyango – Miss Kenya winners

Linda Gatere won Miss Earth Kenya 2015 title on 8th August 2015 in the finals of Miss Kenya 2015 pageant.  Linda Gatere’s court included Elaine Wairimu Mwangi who won the title of Miss Grand Kenya 2015 and Eunice Atien Onyango who won the title of Miss International Kenya 2015.

Linda Gatere will represent the country at Miss Earth 2015 pageant to be held in Vienna, Austria.  She was crowned by Lydia Marcella Manani, Miss Earth Kenya 2014 who failed to place in Miss Earth 2014.

Elaine Mwangi will represent Kenya at Miss Grand International 2015 in Thailand later this year and Eunice Onyango will represent Kenya at Miss International 2015 in Japan later this year.

Linda Gatere is pursuing bachelors degree in Economics and finance at Kenyatta University.  She is also a Wings Team Member at Redbull Kenya. Elaine is a student at St Paul’s University, Nakuru Campus, while Eunice will be joining Kenyatta University soon to study marketing and sales.

Miss Kenya winners by far have failed to place at Miss Earth, Miss International & Miss Grand International.  The only exception is Winfred Omwakwe who won 1st Runner-up title at Miss Earth 2002.  She was later appointed as Miss Earth 2002 when Džejla Glavović of Bosnia & Herzegovina was fired for failure in fulfilling duties of the winner.  Let us see of Linda Gatere can achieve the success of Winfred in Miss Earth.
