Miss Earth South Africa 2015 Contestants [Photos]

Miss Earth South Africa 2015 pageant has started!  Contestants are performing many activities for the good of the environment and the society.  The pageant defines itself as a “leadership programme focused on greening hearts and minds of Young South African women”.

Ilzé Saunders is the reigning Miss Earth South Africa 2014.  She could not place at Miss Earth 2014, which was won by Jamie Herrell of Philippines.  She will be crowning the new winner, who will compete in Miss Earth 2015 in Vienna, Austria.

The first placement of South Africa in Miss Earth was achieved by Bokang Montjane in the year 2007.  Bokang Montjane later won Miss South Africa 2010.  Chanel Grantham placed in Top 16 of Miss Earth 2009.  Nondyebo Dzingwa placed in Top 7 of Miss Earth 2010.  Tamerin Jardine placed in Top 8 of Miss Earth 2012.   Ashanti Mbanga placed in Top 16 of Miss Earth 2013.

1. Monique Marais – She is completing her BSc Consumer Science degree at North West University and will continue with her honours next year.

   

2. Jessica Janse Van Rensburg – is a 3rd year Fine Arts student at Wits University.

   

3. Charmaine Mdedetyana – wasborn and raised in beautiful cityofTlokwe in the North West of South Africa.

   

4. Celetia Reinders – has been actively involved in Student RAG Community Service (SRCS) during her studies.

   

5. Allesandri Pereira – is 119-year-oldBCom Entrepreneur & Business Management student.

   

6. Rachel Giddy – is a 20-year-old student from Port Elizabeth.

   

7. Nikita Lagler – studed a BA in communication sciencethroughUNISA after school.

   

8. Carla Viktor – hasa honours degree from University of Pretoria.

   

9. Rumbi Zindi – iscurrently inherfinal semester of social science degree, majoring sociology and business management.

   

10. Mapitso Thaisi – is a BSc graduate from the University of Capetown.

    

11. Maxine Caruth – is in third year of psychology at Varsity college, Durban North.
