Meet Miss England 2015 Contestants

The 2015 edition of Miss England will take place on 14th August at Ricoh Arena,Coventry. 52 Miss England 2015 contestants from across England will compete in various fast track events for the right to represent England at Miss World 2015 which will be held in Sanya,China. Carina Tyrell is the reigning Miss England. She will crown her successor at the end of the event. England is home to Miss World Organziation & the first Miss World pageant took place in England in 1951. England, as an individual country, has never won Miss World but United Kingdom won 4 Miss World Crowns. Rosemarie Frankland in 1961,Ann Sidney 1964,Lesley Langley 1965 & Sarah-Jane Hutt in 1983 were crowned Miss World as UK. Helen Morgan who won Miss World 1974 but had to resign because she had a 18 month old son.
