The 16th edition of Miss Universe Thailand will take place on July 18th, 2015 at Royal Paragon Hall; Siam Paragon, Bangkok. 40 beauties from across Thailand have been short-listed as Miss Universe Thailand 2015 Contestants. They will compete to become Thailand’s official delegate for the Miss Universe 2015-16 Pageant. Pimbongkod Chankaew who assumed the crown after the real winner was dethroned will crown her successor at the end of the event. Thailand has won Miss Universe Pageant twice; Apasra Hongsakula won in 1965 & 1988 courtesy of Porntip Nakhirunkanok. Thailand also hosted the pageant twice; first in 1992 & second time in 2005. Thailand has won Best National Costume 5 times; second only to Colombia. Thai beauties have also won multiple special awards at Miss Universe Pageant.
