Miss New Zealand 2015: Deborah Lambie
Deborah Lambie, 22 years old, who is a medical student, from Otago beat won the crown of Miss New Zealand 2015. She will now officially represent New Zealand at Miss World 2015. Apart from the main crown of Miss New Zealand, Miss Lambie also won Speech, Talent & Interview Fast Tracks events. Miss Lambie received a standing ovation for her final answer from the audience as she answered to a question about Islamic State’s highly publicised recruitment of young people.
The First Runner Up crown went to heavy favorite Hayley Robinson who will represent the county at the Miss International Pageant in Tokyo Japan where as Second Runner up crown went to Rua Wallace. New Zealand has never won Miss World, Lambie shall try to grab the crown later this year.
