Asia is the Earth’s largest and most populous continent. However, the performance of Asian countries in Miss World has not been at par with the countries of Europe, America or say even Africa in recent years. This year, 25 girls shall be battling out for the crown from Asia. This list of the girls from Asia competing for the crown for Miss World 2014 is as below:

I assessed the above 25 girls on the basis of whatever pics and videos I could find from internet. My basic criterias were Beauty, Communication skills, wit, walk, elegance, X-factor, Confidence etc.

On the basis of the assessment carried out, I have chosen my Top 10 Girls from Asia Region :-

Rank 1 =  India ( Koyal Rana )

All we know after the year 2000, India has been successful to make place in top 20 or top 10 but failed to win the crown. But this year, India has one of the best and deserving candidates – Koyal Rana for Miss World crown. Koyal is 21 years old beautiful girl from Delhi city who  has full potential to win the crown because She has all the qualities of Miss World like:- she is beautiful , hot , intelligent , natural beauty and she knows how to play the game, she has good communication skill, she is doing hard work for Beauty with purpose contest and  her body also seems quite fit now. She is the definition of being cute as a button. So this year India has very high chances to win the 6^th Miss. World crown for India.

Rank 2 = Philippines (Valerie Weigmann )

Last Year, Philippines won its First Miss World crown through Megan Young. This year Philippines’s representative is Valerie Weigmann. Valerie is an 24 years old actress of German and Filipino descent, living in the province of Albay. She has that natural girl next door appeal about her that makes her very personable. When this contestant is glamed up, she becomes breathtaking and carries herself with a sense of class. This time she is hot favorite of pageant lovers. Will Philippines do a back to back?

Rank 3 = Thailand (Nonthawan Thongleng)

Thailand has never won Miss World crown. But this year Thailand is building huge expectations from 22 years old Nonthawan Thongleng. She is a professional model and singer. She is in full confidence and attitude and with these qualities, she can make her place in Top 5 very easily but she has to work on her ramp skills.

Rank 4 = Australia ( Courtney Thorpe )

Australia has only 2 winners (1968, 1972) till date. Australia won last crown in 1972 through Belinda Green. Courtney, representing Australia, has a great look with beautiful eyes, which makes her different. If she plays her cards well in events, she may crack a top 10 easily and can advance further depending upon the other 9 finalists calibre.

Rank 5 = Lebanon (Saly Greige)

Lebanon has also never won a crown but must say, a very strong delegate this year as Saly Griege. She is 24 years old Lebnon girl who is representative of Lebanon at Miss World and Miss Universe 2014. She is good to go in finalists lot of Beach beauty and Top Model. A top 10 at the moment at max for her.

Rank 6 = Indonesia (Maria Sastrayu)

Indonesia is also surviving without the crown till now. Maria sastrayu who is a Tv Presenter and a Model in the age of 23 is the representative of Indonesia this year. She is beautiful , gorgeous but she needs to improve her confidence level , if she wants to make her place in Top 15 or Top 10. They generally do well in Beauty with A Purpose, so she may channel her way through that fast track otherwise I don’t see her going far at the moment.

Rank 7 = Israel ( Mor Maman)

If eyes could tell a story, this contestant’s eyes would take us on a deep blue journey into Israel. Israel has only one winner of Miss World in 1998. But this year Israel has very good looking and gorgeous beauty for this competition. She has a hot attitude and she is so fierce and if she plays her card in very organized and very well manner then she can make her place in Finalist very easily. However, she will need to add more spark to her personality.

Rank 8 = Mauritius ( Sheetal Khadun)

Mauritius is also a crownless country but this year they have a decent contender , Sheetal khadun who can make a place in Semifinal. She is good but she needs to improve her other qualities like:- confidence , ramp walk , specially communication skill because communication is more important for Miss World pageant as we can see the highest scores are of Interview round.

Rank 9 = Myanmar ( Wyne Lay)

Myanmar has exploded into the world of pageantry now a day. This year Myanmar has beautiful candidates for every pageant and for Miss World they have Wyne lay . She is beautiful, hot and her smile is very radiant but her ramp walk is so dull and a bit of a question to me.

Rank 10 = Sri Lanka (Chulakshi Ranathunga)

Chulakshi Ranathunga is Sri lanka’s representative. She is bold and but her walk needs more polishing. She is average girl with decent beauty. Not expecting this girl to go high in the contest.
