A former Miss Universe as their mentor and a reality show to create buzz around pageants – Miss Diva Universe is making all the right noises that Indian Pageant fans were eager to hear.  Sixteen girls were shortlisted as finalists, but one contestant Jyoti Rajput backed out due to some personnel issue; so we are left with 15 Divas who are competing for the crown of Miss Universe India.  We are little late in delivering our first hot picks, because there weren’t many pictures to judge girls on how they are performing.  But now after watching the interview videos, Head and Mid Lenght shots, and of course pictures from the unveiling party of Miss Diva Universe 2014, here we present our Top 7 for Miss Diva Universe 2014.

When Vartika auditioned at the Lucknow auditions,  many believed  that India got it’s representative for Miss Universe 2014.  But after sometime, the hype around her disappeared.  Many doubted that she would not make it to final list, but she proved her detractors wrong.  So far she is keeping her cards close to her chest.  We do see a bright future for her in pageantry, but she needs to work on her body.  She has to get rid of her heavy accent & she can be more confident & livelier when she speaks .

Asha Bhat is a pleasant surprise for all of us.  She has immense potential.  Her face is just gorgeous, she speaks well, has an amazing voice & she knows how to project her self in front of the camera.  If she fails to win any crown, she can come back to Femina Miss India 2015  with better body & a more spontaneous personality.  This girl can do well at both Miss World & Miss Universe pageants.  But she needs some time to get in shape.

19 years old Shreeradhe Khanduja  looks so classy & sophisticated!  A trained classical dancer – Shreeradhe knows what works for her her styling (apart from what she was wearing at the unveiling party), has been great she won Campus Princess & was liked by all her fellow contestants.  She some how reminds us of Manasi Moghe when she was competing at Miss Diva 2013.  Can she pull off a major upset during finale?

Alankrita Sahai is a Diva in every way possible.  This LA return girl can speak really well.  She has a body to die for &  has a good walk.  The only problem which we have with her is that her nose is bit too long for pageants – if she fixes it, she can surely do great at Miss Universe.

Lopamudra Raut is trying her luck for the third time.  She was heavily bashed for her interview, when she asked her haters to get a life.  Lopa is not new to pageants – she knows when it matters the most & she is smart enough to deliver it  when it then.  Well she is trying to pull off a MJ Lastimosa but we don’t see that happening.  She may be one of the runner up.

Every one was disappointed after watching Hida’s interview.  She fumbled a lot, maybe as she is not comfortable speaking in English.  She should seriously stick to Hindi if she really wants to win the main crown.  Other than that, we don’t see any major problem with her.  Her face is flawless and she has this afro- latina vibe going on for her which MUO loves.  We would love to see her represent India at Miss Universe.

Noyonita Lodh is our choice so far for the crown of Miss Diva Universe 2014.  So far pageants fan from around the world are  considering her as their favorite & are rooting for her win.  If Ximena Navarrete & Lara Dutta had a child, it would look like Noyonita! 😛  Her face is amazing &  her body is to die for.  Her biggest problem is her teeth, which need to be fixed ASAP.  A minor nose job would do wonders for her.  Rarely does a girl like Noyonita walks into pageant world.  If Times Group is smart, they should not waste her .
