Happy 4th of July: Remembering National Costumes of Miss USA at Miss Universe

• 238 years ago the Americans got independence from the British to celebrate this splendid day with our American Friends here are National Costumes of Miss USA at The Miss Universe Pageant since the start of the New Millennium.

2001

Kandace Krueger.

Kandace Krueger, Miss USA 2001 belonged to the state of Texas at Miss USA pageant, Texas has always been synonymous with the Wild West & CowBoy. She looked stunning in a cowboy inspired outfit Miss Kruger looked one heck of a cowgirl in it.

2002

 Shauntay Hinton.

Tragedy struck the USA on September 11th, 2001  as terrorists attacked the twin towers, many brave firefighters were engaged in rescue operations for days Miss USA 2012 Shauntay Hinton paid tribute to those firefighters who worked selflessly without fearing for their lives to rescue people trapped under, many lost their lives.

2003

Susie Castillo.

Susie Castillo payed tribute to one of the most famous Comic Character fighting for justice, love, peace, and sexual equality has led to Wonder Woman being widely considered a feminist icon.

2004 

Shandi Finnessey.

 

Miss Universe 2004 1st Runner Up Shandi Finnessey paid tribute in a very sexy & la Victoria Secret way to the Red Indians Shandi represented the State of Missouri at Miss USA , before 1800 many Red Indians tribes used to remain in Missouri later they were pulled to leave Missouri some still remain in that location.

2005  

Chelsi Cooley.

• The Chelsi’s outfit was inspired by the iconic dress worn by the legendary British actress Vivien Leigh as Scarlett O’Hara in Gone with the Wind, in the movie Vivien plays role of a Southern Belle Belle means Beautiful in French, Chelsi is indeed a beautiful young woman.

2006

Tara Conner.

Tara Conner hailed from Kentucky well Kentucky is world famous for it’s fried Chicken & it’s legendary  Kentucky Derby  Miss Corner paid tribute to the later by dressing up as a jockey with the American flag on the shirt.

2007

Rachel Smith.

Both Elvis Presley & Rachel Smith were raised in Tennessee to celebrate the Iconic singer & performer who hailed from the same state Miss Smith paid tribute to Elvis Presley.

2008 

Rachel Smith.

Crystale Stewart who tried 4 times at Miss USA Texas & won the contest in 5 attempt she later wen t on to represent USA at Miss Universe 2008 where she was in the TOP 10. The Flag of Texas is red,blue & white with only one star,Texas is usually referred as state of lone star. Crystale  went the Victoria Secret way & paid tribute to the Flag of her state.

2009

Kirsten Dalton.

 

North Carolina has produced many remarkable Nascar drivers & a gorgeous girl named Kristen Dalton, Kristen celebrated one off the favorite sport of the people  North Carolina & US the Nascar by dressing up as a Nascar race driver.

2010

Rima Fakih.

Rima Fakih became the first Muslim women to wear the crown of Miss USA, her national costume was inspired by the seal of the President of the USA  she had recorded a Video Message to the President describing what her costume means.

2011

Alyssa Campanella.

 

Ok here we aren’t sure what exactly is being portrayed the hat & Shoulder pads take us back to the 1800’s where the American Leaders wore such Hats & Jackets the jacket when it is opened pops out the American Flag.

2012

Olivia Culpo.

Miss Universe 2012 Olivia Culpo’s National Costume was inspired by the sky during the 4th of July night at Statue of Liberty her back gear gave a beautiful effect of Fire works where Miss Culpo was dressed as the Statue of Liberty.

2013

Erin Brady.

Hollywood Movies are famous for the Sci Fi Fiction movies & one of the most loved movies is Transformers  series Erin dressed up as one of the Transformers her costume received mix reactions on social networks (btw we loved it).It must have been really difficult to walk in those shoes kudos to Erin & all American beauties for showcasing their culture&  their icons in such splendid way .
