Philippines without doubt is the most talked about country in the world of Pageantry. Philippines has risen to Success that all can dream of & very few can match up. Filipinos for sure are the craziest & most loyal fans of Beauty Pageants sometimes Pageants have been accused of favoring Filipino representatives just to gain more fan following. IMHO I beg to differ with such sentiments sometimes we get overboard with feelings of hate & envy towards a person who is who is doing a better job than us. I believe Filipino girls have proven time and again that it’s not about expensive jewelry or outfits what matter is how you perform & how you present yourself in front of the world.

Here are 5 reasons why The Philippines is doing so well in the world of Pageantry:

#1: Hardworking girls their only aim is to win the crown for their country these girls focus on winning they don’t use pageants as a platform to get into modeling or movies.

#2 Catwalk divas from Venus Raj to Ariella Arida all of them are catwalk divas when Ariella topped the SS round during the Miss Universe 2013 finals it came as shock to many of us  as there were better bodies than Her for eg: Ecuador, Puerto Rico, Costa Rica but what the judges were looking for was a great performer she surely impressed them with her twrils& fierce walk.

#3 well spoken girls all the reps are highly educated & are fluent in English all of them are good speakers so they ace the preliminary interviews as well impress the judges during the Q&A.

#4 The franchise owners for eg: Madam Cory understands what kind of girl will do great at Miss World within a short span of 3 years she has given Philippines its first Miss World crown, 1 First Runner Up & a top 15 finish. Binibining Pilipinas owner Madame Stella has also chosen right girls for right pageant that’s why they recently won Miss Supranational a Great Performance at Miss International & record top 5 placement streak at Miss Universe.

#5 Fans Filipinos support their queens like Brazilians support their soccer team or Indians  supporting their Cricket team they are loyal & the will stand by their representative & support her till the end.

I do see Philippines winning Miss Universe within a few years they know what’s right for them all the franchises are in the right hands they are willing to experiment. What Philippines requires is to find someone who has universal appeal like Megan young & Mutya Datul to win Miss Universe.
