Stunning Vaimalama Chaves from Tahiti was crowned as the winner of Miss France 2019. She will represent France at Miss World 2019 and/or Miss Universe 2019. She was crowned by the outgoing queen Maeva Coucke, who was Top 12 at Miss World 2018. She is 23-years-old and stands 178 cm tall. She battled out 29 other contestants in the contest to claim the title.

At the same event, Ophely Mezino was declared first runner up while Lauralyne Demesmay was declared as the second runner-up. Morgane Soucramanien, Aude Destour completed the Top 5 court. Miss France 2017 Alicia Aylies, Miss France 2013 Marine Lorphelin were also present at finale of Miss France 2019. Miss France had jury panel of 7 members of all women, something that Miss Universe 2018 is going to follow tonight.
