Nyekachi Douglas was crowned as the winner of Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria 2019. The finale of the pageant was held at the Gabriel Okara Cultural Centre in Bayelsa State, Nigeria. Nyekachi is 21 years old and represented Rivers State in the contest. She battled out 36 other contestants in the contest to claim the title. She will now represent Nigeria at Miss World 2019 later this year in Thailand.

At the same event, Olutosin Araromi was declared as the representative of Nigeria at Miss Universe 2019. Pamela Ifejoku was declared as MBGN Tourism while Akeelah Aminu who was crowned as MBGN Miss Ecowas.
