‘I have been a fan of Miss USA and Miss Universe for decades. Several years ago I was even offered two state franchises for Miss USA, but had to turn them down due to my pressing work schedule at that time.
Having watched Miss USA and Miss Universe, I am particularly troubled at the total exclusion of male representation on the selection committee panels. While it’s always important to recognize the advancement of women in our society, we don’t do this at the exclusion of men. The male viewership although playing a lesser role is never the less a vital part of the overall viewership. Your judging panels must be integrated to be taken seriously. Sometimes what is deemed as progress often times has the opposite result. Thank you for your time.’
