Deekshya Singh crowned as TGPC’s Miss India Season-5 Second Runner-up

21 years old beauty Deekshya Singh from Bhubaneswar was crowned as the second runner-up of TGPC’s Miss India Season-5. The coronation ceremony was held at Dimple and Amrin Studio in Mumbai. She was crowned by ourgoing queen Yukta Upadhyay. Deekshya battled out 19 other contestants in this contest to claim the title on her name. The top 3 winners were styled and groomed by celebrity styling and make-over expert Dimple Mehta. Deekshya stands 5’7″ tall and has completed her post graduation in Commerce. She is currently pursuing her passion of Dance and is a trained dancer in Salsa, Bachata forms. Deekshya loves dancing, singing and travelling in her leisure time.

At the same event, Nikita Tanwani from Jaipur was crowned as the winner and Garima Yadav from Indore was crowned as the first runner-up in the contest. Deekshya also won subtitles of Miss Talent and People’s Choice in the contest. Interestingly, she was a contestant last season where also she won the subtitle of People’s Choice subtitle. On being asked how does she feel on being crowned as the second runner-up of 5th edition, she says,”I am speechless, and can’t believe that I am actually living the moment I have dreamt about for so long. This is and will be one of the most beautiful moments that life has given me, and I am going to cherish it for a really long time. I feel jubilant and humbled that I am crowned as one of the 3 winners, it makes me believe that if you work for your dreams, the universe will definitely fulfill all your dreams that your heart holds.
