Super stunning Ornella Gunesekere was crowned as the winner of Miss Universe Sri Lanka 2018. She is 26 years old and will now represent Sri Lanka at Miss Universe 2018 later this year in Thailand. She is well known for her stint at Miss Grand International 2014 where she was one of the Top 10 and Miss Supranational 2016 where she was 3rd runner-up. She succeeds Christina Peiris as the new Miss Universe Sri Lanka. Ornella Gunesekere also grabbed the titles of Miss Congeniality, Miss Confidence and Miss Popular apart from the main title.

At the same event, Marion Wettasing was crowned as the first runner-up while Natalee Fernando was crowned as the second runner-up.
