Pageant veteran Ana de Backer was crowned as the winner of Mrs Tourism Queen International 2018. This was the first ever edition of the pageant. The pageant was held in Malaysia where she represented the country of Brazil at the contest. She battled out 29 other candidates to claim the first ever title of Mrs. Miss Tourism Queen International. The finale of the pageant took place in Shangri-la Hotel Ball Room, in Kuala Lumpur.

At the same event, Mexico was 1st runner-up and South Africa was 2nd runner-up. While Malaysia and Mongolia finished as 3rd and 4th runners-up. Mrs. Myanmar was chosen as Mrs Global Tourism. Ana also won Mrs. Fitness subtitle along with the main crown.

For those who know Ana, would realize that she was the eventual winner of Miss World Brazil 2015 but had to resign from the title as it was later found out that she was married in other country, still eligible to compete at Miss World Brazil as she was single in her own country and marriage wasn’t official accepted yet.
