Deepshikha Sharma was declared as the winner of  ‘The Tiara Queen’ by TGPC for the month of June 2018 batch. In a candid interview with her, we got to know her a little more, about her personality, her aspirations and her motivation. Have a look at different aspects of Deepshikha’s life.

TGPC: Hi Deepshikha, please tell us something about yourself.

-Hi. I am Deepshikha Sharma, 23 years old. I am an IT consultant, a fashion blogger and an artist. I take peace in writing and music is my passion. I learnt to play harmonium at the age of 6. I am an explorer by nature, horseback riding, travelling and forging new roads, meeting new people is like soul food to me. I am a huge pet lover and an active volunteer at CUPA, an animal care and adoption center in Bangalore. I am a fitness person and I do Yoga and gym workouts everyday without fail.

TGPC: How does it feel winning the title of ‘The Tiara Queen’ by TGPC in your first attempt?

-It is such an honor and a moment of pride for me to have been found capable enough to justify the title of The Tiara Queen by TGPC. But also, it taught me a little something that not when you greed for the crown, will you get it. I performed my best with gratitude but no expectations and see where it took me.

TGPC: What is one thing you learnt at The Tiara that you’ll never forget in life?

-Be grateful for what you have today and work hard to become a better version of yourself tomorrow.

TGPC: What do you have to say about your mentor Ritika Ramtri, who has often been slated as India’s No.1 Pageant Trainer?

-I find myself extremely fortunate to have been trained under Ritika Ramtri ma’am for no one can enlighten you about the world of pageantry better than her. A pillar of support, an epitome of strength, as loving as a mother, as strict as a father, as caring as a friend, a disciplinarian, yet always so approachable and warm at heart, she truly justifies to be called as India’s No. 1 Pageant Trainer.

TGPC: What are your pageant aspirations in coming years?

-I aspire to bring the next Miss Universe title to my country.

TGPC: What is one weird thing that not many people knows about you?

-Haha. When I was 10, I had a huge crush on an animated character, Sasuke, from the series Naruto. I was so crazy about him that I used to collect hundreds of his comic cuttings and paste them in my diary.

TGPC: If there is one event in history that you could change, what would it be and why?

-Well, I believe that life has offered me my share of blessings and lessons to make me what I am today and I take immense pride in it. Thus, there is nothing that I would like to change.

TGPC: Which was your most favourite session from the class during your course?

-My most favorite session was when we did the Marilyn Monroe makeup. I have always been a big fan of Marilyn Monroe and her makeup and style statement. The silver eyeshadow with winged eyeliner, the tricks of ombre rosy lips, it was so fascinating to learn.

TGPC: You were a finalist of Femina Miss India J&K. How was your experience?

Being a Femina Miss India 2018 Finalist from Jammu and Kashmir has been a lifetime achievement for me. I never knew I could be there, I never thought I had it in me. But one belief that I have always held onto my entire life is that if you’re determined and keen enough to achieve something, nothing can stop you, sky’s the limit. It is not about how far you go in the world of pageantry, but it is the journey that evolves you into a whole other person. You grow into a much stronger, more confident and opinionated person.

TGPC: Any message for the readers of TGPC?

I would like to thank The Great Pageant Community for providing such a huge platform to promote the talent and provide exposure to the aspiring beauty queens of tomorrow. To the TGPC readers I’d like to say that anything that you need to know about pageantry or different pageants around the globe , TGPC is the place for you. And one message that I’d like to give to the beautiful pageant aspireants out there is that embrace yourself with all your heart, believe that you can and one day, you will
