Stunning Ana Liliana Avião was crowned as the winner of Miss Angola 2018 in a national finale held at Luanda. She will now represent Angola at Miss Universe 2018. She battled out 18 other contestants to claim the title. Ana succeeds Lauriela Martins as the new Miss Universe Angola.

At the same event, Nuria Nunes of Cuanza-Norte was declared as the first runner-up while Indira Candido of Cunene was declared as the second runner-up of the contest. It is interesting to note that Angola has won Miss Universe once in 2011 by the courtesy of Leila Lopes, after which the country has not got any placement.
