Stunning 23 years old Sophida Kanchanarin was crowned as the winner of Miss Universe Thailand 2018 contest. She will now represent Thailand at Miss Universe 2018. The finale of the pageant was held at Royal Paragon Hall, Siam Paragon where she battled out 39 other contestants in the contest to claim the title. She succeeds Maria Poonlertlarp as the new Miss Universe Thailand.

At the same even, Thitaree Kasorn was delcared as the first runner-up while Praveena Singh, Palita Puttharassu and Valentina Ploy were crowned as the second runners-up of the contest. Sophida Kanchanarin holds a finance degree from the University of Nevada in the USA and currently works as an investment banker.
