Braea Tilford won the title of Miss Kentucky USA 2018. Grand finale of Miss Kentucky USA 2018 took place on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at Holy Trinity Clifton Campus. Braea was crowned by the outgoing Miss Kentucky USA, Madelynne Myers. Braea will represent the state of Kentucky at the Miss USA 2018 pageant where she will try to succeed Kara McCullough of District of Columbia as the next Miss USA. In the same event Jordan Crozier was crowned as Miss Kentucky Teen USA 2018. Jordan was crowned by Olivia Prewitt,Miss Kentucky Teen USA 2017 and will represent Kentucky at  Miss Teen USA 2018 later this year.

Kentucky has produced only one Miss USA so far and that is Tara Corner, Miss USA 2006. Kristen Johnson,Miss Kentucky USA 2005 became the only Miss Kentucky to win the second runner-up crown at Miss USA pageant.Julie Andrus in 1965 became the only Miss Kentucky to win the Third runner-up title. Kentucky has produced five Fourth runner-ups crowns Johanna Reid in 1964), Patricia Barnstable at Miss USA 1971, Lisa Devillez at Miss USA 1980, Kristina Leah Chapman in 1982, Maria Montgomery at Miss USA 2009.
