Christian Nunes is chosen as Mister Venezuela 2017.  He succeeds Renato Barabino Gandica as Mister Venezuela. Usually Mister Venezuela winners go to Mister World pageant, but it is not sure if Christian will get the chance.  In any case this is the biggest pageant of the country and winning it is a big deal.  As per buzz, Christian will sign a contract with Venevision.

Christian Nunes is from Caracas, the capital of Venezuela.  In past also, he has participated in pageants.  Christian is the 16th winner of Mister Venezuela title.  2 of the former Mister Venezuela winners went on to become international pageant winners – Mister Venezuela 1997 Sandro Finoglio Speranza won Mister World 1998 and Juan Ernesto Calzadilla Regalado won Manhunt International 1999.  Last Mister Venezuela to participate in Mister World was Jesús Antonio Casanova Sarmiento, Mister Venezuela 2014.  He participated in Mister World 2014.
