Nanise Rainima was declared as the winner of Miss World Fiji 2017 after the national event held last night. The finale was held at the Grand Pacific Hotel in Suva. She will now represent her country at Miss World 2017 later this year in China. Nanise is 25-year-old and hails from a village in Nakelo, Tailevu. She succeeds Pooja Priyanka as the new Miss World Fiji. She was also awarded the title of Miss Photogenic apart from main title.

At the same event, Adi Naomi Vuibau was declared first runner-up, Jane Prasad was second runner-up while Ashwinta Reddy and Christine Mariam completed the top five court. Rainima isn’t new to pageantry, she previously won Miss Hibiscus 2014 and represented her country at Miss Pacific Islands. Akanisi Nawa was given the title of Best in Talent and Sheenal Swastika was given the title of  Miss Multimedia.
