Noemi Sartal, the original winner of Showstars Spain, has been dethroned of her title. It is said that the decision was taken by the officials due to conflicting obligations of her modelling contract and pageant contracts. Ainara de Santamaría Villamor who was 2nd runner-up has been promoted to represent Spain at Miss Earth 2017. She hails from Cantabria. Spain has never won Miss Earth till date.
