Miss TGPC 2017, Episode 11: Party Wear Competition [Episode Video]

We are just 2 weeks away from the crowning of our new Miss TGPC and the contestants are giving one last try to save themselves from final elimination by competing in ‘Party Wear’ round sponsored by ‘I Love Kapda’.  In this round, the contestants were asked to dress themselves in a party wear like Evening gown, cocktail dress etc.  They will be judged based on their beauty, styling and overall presentation skills.  Top 6 will be selected based on the performances in this round. There is one more spot for the 9 girls who failed to make it to the Top 6 as a Wild Card Spot.

Here are the details of the panelists.

  • Melvyn Dominic Noronha – Melvyn works with Femina Miss India as the designer of national costumes.  He is also a singer, an artist and a pageant coach.
  • Aarushi Sharma – Aarushi Sharma is the first ever winner of Senorita Miss Intercontinental India.  She represented India at Miss Intercontinental 2016 in Sri Lanka.
  • Pooja Priyanka – Pooja is the winner of Miss World Fiji 2016 title.  She represented Fiji at Miss World 2016 pageant in the USA.
  • Swati Nanda – Swati is a popular model and Television actress.  Her journey to success begun with winning TGPC People’s Choice award in Indian Princess 2014. She also represented India at Top Model of the World 2014.
  • Rajkanya Baruah – Rajkanya is the winner of Femina Miss India Kolkata 2016 title.  She was also a judge in Miss TGPC 2016 pageant.

Our sponsor ‘I Love Kapda’ will pick the winner for the title ‘I Love Kapda Party Queen’.  The lucky lady will get a high fashion wardrobe hamper from I Love Kapda!  Who will she be?  Also, can you guess the names of the 3 contestants who will leave us by the end of this week?  Let us know in comments.  The competition is at it’s peak!

Upcoming Episodes

  • Episode 12, Party Wear Competition – Results (22/03/2017, 8 PM) – The scoring by the esteemed panel of judges shall be revealed and combined average scores will determine which 6 contestants enter the final phase of the competition.
  • Episode 13, Party Wear Competition – Elite Panel’s Choice- Wild Card Entry  (24/03/2017, 8 PM) – The Top choice of the Elite Panel (Premium members of The Great Pageant Community – Group) from the eliminated girls gets a direct entry to the final phase of the competition as a Wild Card Entry.
  • Episode 14, Final Impression – Episode Video (26/03/2017, 8 PM) – A video compilation of Top 7 for all their performances shall be displayed. Judges shall select their winner based on overall impression and their potential to do well in national and international pageants.
