Miss Ecuador 2017 will be the 62nd edition of the pageant. Miss Ecuador is the most prestigious beauty pageant in Ecuador. Winner of Miss Ecuador represents Ecuador at Miss Universe pageant runner-ups usually get a chance to compete at Miss World and Miss International. Connie Jiménez is the reigning Miss Ecuador and will crown her successor on 22nd April 2017. Grand finale of Miss Ecuador 2017 will take place at El Chorrillo Sports Complex, Babahoyo, Los Ríos. The pageant will be aired live on Gama TV.
Ecuador has never won the Miss Universe crown Constanza Baez who bagged the second runner-up crown at Miss Universe 2013 is the highest placement for the latin country at the Miss Universe pageant. Ecuador ha produced 1 Miss International winner and 2 Miss Earth winners.
