The most prestigious beauty pageant in Belgium, Miss Belgium 2017 will take place on Saturday 14th of January 2017 at the Theater Plopsa De Panne, Where Miss Belgium 2016, Lenty Frans winner of Continental queen of Europe at recently concluded Miss World 2016 will crown her successor. Winner of Miss Belgium 2017 will represent Belgium at Miss World 2017 and Miss Universe 2017. If for any reason the new winner fails to qualify for any pageant her runner-up will be appointed as Belgian delegate to the said pageant.

Belgium is yet to produce a Miss World or a Miss Universe winner. Annelies Törös managed to crack top 15 at Miss Universe 2015 where as Lenty Farns bagged top 10 finish at Miss World 2016.
