Who will succeed Iris Mittenaere as Miss France 2017? meet the contestants of Miss France 2017 — Iris Mittenaere , Miss Nord-Pas-de-Calais is cheered by her fellow contestants after winning Miss France 2016.

Miss France 2017 Contestants have been shortlisted from across the country and French territories. The 30 stunning beauties will compete in one of the glamorous national pageants on earth, shall take place on December the 17th at Arena de Montpellier. Miss France 2016, Iris Mittenaere of Nord-Pas-de-Calais will crown her successor at the end of the event.

2017 edition of Miss France will be the 87th edition of the pageant. Traditionally winner represents France at both Miss World and Miss Universe pageant. If for any reason the eventual winner fails to qualify for either of the pageants her runner-up is appointed as the french delegate. Miss France 2017 will be aired live on TF1 and will be hosted by former Miss France and the current national director Sylvie Tellier alongside television personality Jean-Pierre Foucault who would be hosting the show for a record twenty-second time.

Despite having a great record at pageant France has only produced one Miss Universe & one Miss World Christiane Martel & Denise Perrier both bagged Miss Universe & Miss World crowns respectively for France in the year 1953. Iris Mittenaere will be representing France this year at the Miss Universe pageant whereas her runner-up Morgane Edvige of Martinique will be heading to Washington D.C to compete at Miss World 2016.
