Kong Jing has been crowned as Miss World China 2016

Miss World China 2016: Kong Jing

Kong Jing has been chosen as Miss World China 2016.  She will represent People’s Republic of China at Miss World 2016, which will be held in the United States of America in December 2016.

China is often considered a powerhouse in Miss World.  Miss World China is sending their winners to Miss World since 2001 and they have already won 2 crowns!  Except 6 times, they have placed every year.  From 2001 to 2003, Miss World China winners were continental winners from Asia at Miss World.  Zhang Zilin won the Miss World title in 2007.  In Miss World 2012, Yu Wenxia won the title of Miss World.  Predecessor to Kong Jing, Yuan Lu was a Top 30 finalist.

Much details are not known yet about Kong Jing, but she appears to be a tall, lean lady from her early pictures.  Her face is beautiful too!  It seems China will do well this year at Miss World.  Of course, it will not be easy for her.  There is a lot of competition that she will face in her own continent itself.  Miss Philippines Catriona Gray is a strong contender for Miss World title this year.  Femina Miss India 2016 Priyadarshini Chatterjee too has many fans.  Only time will tell how Kong fares.
