Stunning Amber Korimdun was crowned as the winner of  Miss Earth Mauritius 2016. The finale was held on 3rd September 2016 at a party at Ambre Resort & Spa. Amber Korimdun battled out 11 other contestants to claim this title. She succeeds Katia Moochooram as the new Miss Earth Mauritius. Amber shall now represent her country in Miss Earth 2016 later this year in Philippines.

At the same event, Ramjun Sheba was crowned as Miss Air Mauritius, Canarapen Katherina was crowned as Miss Water Mauritius and Vir Ginie was crowned as Miss Fire Mauritius. The finale was graced by reigning Miss Earth Angelia Gabrena Ong. This year Miss Earth Mauritius will be doing an “Earth School Tour”, where Amber Korimdun will go to schools and educate young children about the importance of eco citizens’ gestures.

Although Mauritius doesn’t have a strong sash at Miss Earth 2016, we are in love with the newly crowned Miss Earth Mauritius. Amber has a stunning face and a good body. We are sure she will definitely make waves in Philippines. Although chances of her making to Top 15 might be less, we would love to see her as one of the semifinalist. It is very rare that a girl like Amber comes from Mauritius.
