Nancy Gonzalez crowned Miss Texas USA 2017 !!
Nancy Gonzalez,Miss Kemah USA 2017 defeated 89 contestants to win the title of Miss Texas USA 2017. Grand finale of Miss Texas USA 2017 took place on 4th of September 2016 at Hilton Post Oak, Houston,Texas . Daniella Rodriguez, Miss Texas USA 2016 crowned Nancy as her successor at the end of the event. Nancy will be representing Texas at the Miss USA 2017 pageant next year. first runner-up crown went to Barbara Falcon,Miss Webb County whereas Miss Tropics of Texas,Vanessa Garza was crowned as the second runner-up. Miss Central South Texas ,Alejandra Gonzalez was declared as third runner-up and Miss Austin ,Thekla McCarty was crowned as fourth runner-up. Texas is the most successful state at the Miss USA pageant with nine Miss USA winners they bagged the title for straight five years 1985 to 1989. Texas has produced forty-five Miss USA finalist which is the highest at the Miss USA pageant.

TGPC’s first impression about Nancy Gonzalez,Miss Texas USA 2017:
Nancy was a semi-finalist at last year’s Miss Texas pageant she has been trying her luck in pageantry since she was 17 and has been modelling since the age of 8. Like her many predecessors, Nancy is a latino her family came from Mexico. We can see Nancy making it ti the top 15 of the pageant and she can do extremely well with proper training. Texas is back in the game.
