Raquel Pelissier crowned Miss Universe Haiti 2016

Raquel Pelissier was crowned as the winner of Miss Universe Haiti 2016 during the national finale held on 27th August 2016. The finale was held at Royal Oasis. She will now represent Haiti in Miss Universe 2016 later in January 2017 in Philippines. Raquel Pelissier is 25 yeard old beauty standing 1.81 m tall and she can speak English, French, Spanish, Haitian Creole and German fluently. Raquel succeeds Lisa Drouillard as the new Miss Universe Haiti. She completed a Degree in Optometry and has a Masters in Scientific Research

At the same event, Cassandre Joseph was crowned as Miss International Haiti 2016. She is a a translator and Chiropractor Assistant and also a Medical student. Cassandre knows 4 languages and stands 1.76 m tall. She will soon compete in Miss International 2016 in Japan.

Although we simply love the beauty of Raquel, we feel bad that Haiti doesn’t have a good track record of placement which can project her as a front runner in the competition. As of now we doubt if she can get placement in the contest, but we will wait and see during the actual competition to arrive at a conclusion.
