Audra Mari of North Dakota has won the title of Miss World America in a small ceremony today.  She was crowned by her successor Victoria Mendoza.  Audra Mari will now represent the USA at Miss World 2016.  Interestingly, she will be the host delegate since the Miss World pageant is to be held in Washington D.C. in December this year.  Shivali Patel, a beauty of Indian origin, won the 1st Runner-up title.

Audra Mari is not a new name for pageant followers.  She participated as Miss Teen North Dakota in Miss Teen USA 2011 and finished second.  Then she participated in Miss USA 2014 as Miss North Dakota and again finished second!  At that very time, it was acknowledged by experts of TGPC that she should try for Miss World America.  She did and finally achieved her first national pageant victory.

Audra Mari is very attractive.  She has a fabulous body.  She has a great personality and even won ‘Best in Interview’ in Miss World America 2016.  She is a pageant veteran and hence very much trained and groomed.  Being host delegate will help, because pageant followers have often accused Miss World of wrongly favouring the host delegates.  The one thing that few people say will go against her is her history of participating in Miss Universe Organization pageants.  However, we don’t endorse these opinions.  Miss World has never been particularly unfair, in our knowledge and perspective, to a girl because she was associated with Miss Universe in past.  We can expect Audra to do particularly well in Top Model & Interview rounds of Miss World.  For now, she is safe in our Top 5!
