Imelda Schweighart,who represented Puerto Princesa City defeated 45 other contestants to wear the crown of Miss Philippines Earth 2016. The grand finale of Miss Philippines Earth 2016 took place on Saturday 11th June 2016 at the University of the Philippines in Quezon City. Angelia Ong the reigning Miss Earth 2015 crowned her national successor at the end of a nail biting finale. Imelda will know represent the pageant crazy country of Philippines at the Miss Earth 2016 pageant later this year all eyes will be on Imelda as she tries to defend the Miss Earth crown for the Philippines and win a hat-trick at the pageant. The first runner-up (Miss Philippines Earth Air 2016) crown went to Kiaragiel Gregorio, where as the second runner-up (Miss Philippines Earth Water 2016) went to Loren Mar Artajos, Shannon Rebecca Bridgman & Melanie Mader bagged Miss Philippines Earth Fire & Miss Philippines Earth Eco Tourism 2016 titles respectively.
