Stunning Truong Thi Dieu Ngoc  was crowned as the winner of Miss World Vietnam 2016 during the national event held last night. She will now represent Vietnam in Miss World 2016.  She battled out 8 other contestants in finale to claim the title of Miss World Vietnam 2016. The show was telecast as a reality show where every week one contestant was eliminated. Truong Thi Dieu Ngoc succeeds Trần Ngọc Lan Khuê, who was the winner of People’s Choice at Miss World 2015 and a Top 11 finalist, as new Miss Vietnam World.

At the same event,Pham Ngoc Phuong Linh was crowned as  Miss International Vietnam 2016 and  Huynh Thi Yen Nhi was crowned Miss Grand Vietnam 2016. The contestants competed in Evening Gown and Swimsuit rounds, based on which Top 5 were determined. The Top 5 then went through Question and Answer round and then final result. Truong Thi Dieu Ngoc prize worth of VND1.1 billion (US$52,000 approx), including VND100 million in cash. The jury that decided the winners included Creative Director Henri Hubert, supermodel Ha Anh, actor Chi Bao, actress Truong Ngoc Anh, Director Le Hoang.
