Miss Philippines Earth 2016 will be the 16th edition of the pageant. Winner of this pageant will represent Philippines at the Miss Earth 2016 pageant later this year. The reigning Miss Earth 2015 Angelia Ong will crown her national successor at the end of the event. The Miss Philippines Earth focuses on promoting the cause of global warming and it’s adverse effects on nature. The Miss Philippines Earth pageant is organized by Carousel Productions who also own the Miss Earth Pageant. The 20 shortlisted beauties will indulge in various activities and competition during the competition. Philippines is not only home to the Miss Earth pageant but it has produced three Miss Earth winners Karla Henry in 2008, Jamie Herrell in 2014 & Angela Ong created history by giving Philippines back to back Miss Earth crowns in 2015.Psyche Resus Miss Earth Philippines 2007 & Jeanne Harn Miss Earth Philippines 2010 are the only two delegates from the Philippines who failed to place at Miss Earth pageant.
