The reigning Miss Grand International 2015, Anea Garcia of Dominican Republic (as well as USA since she holds dual citizenship and competed in Miss USA last year as Miss Rhode Islands) will be visiting South Sudan next week.  She will be visiting the capital city Juba and will be received at Juba International Airport by Miss World 2012, 3rd runner-up Atong Demach who is now South Sudan ambassador for culture.  The two beauties will then busy themselves in setting up charity and advocacy work in the country.  They will meet government officials, NGOs and women based organizations.  The trip will be 3 days long.  Prior to this, Anea Garcia has visited USA, Dominican Republic, Myanmar and of course Thailand during her reign as third Miss Grand International winner.

What really amazes us the most is the fast progress of Miss Grand International pageant.  In such a short period of time, the pageant has established itself as a major international pageant.  While some international pageants which have been around for many more years have still not sent their winners to an international trip or work assignment this year, the Miss Grand International 2015 winner is getting such opportunities.  Make the best of it, Anea!
