Natriana Shorter wins Miss Oregon USA 2016!!!

Natriana Shorter won the crown of Miss Oregon USA 2016 in a glittering ceremony that took place on 29th November 2015 at Mt.Hood Community College Theater Gresham,Oregon. Natriana was crowned by the outgoing Miss Oregon USA 2015- Bridget Wilmes. Natriana will represent Oregon at the Miss USA 2016 pageant next year. The first runner-up crown went to Stephanie Matheson where as Elizabeth Denny won the second runner-up title. In the same event Mikaela Bruer was crowned as Miss Teen Oregon USA 2016. Mikaela will represent Oregon at Miss Teen USA 2016 pageant next year.

Oregon is one of the least successful states at the Miss USA pageant they have placed only ten times in the history of the pageant.Gail Atchison-Miss Oregon USA 1976 & second runner-up at Miss USA 1976 is the highest placement for the state at Miss USA pageant.  Oregon has two Miss Congeniality courtesy of Denise White in 1994 and Gabrielle Neilan at Miss USA 2013. Alaina Bergsma Miss Oregon USA 2012 bagged the Miss photogenic award at Miss USA 2012.

24 year old Natriana hails from Las Vegas Nevada but lives in Eugene, Oregon. She is currently pursuing minors in Business Management & Leadership at New Hope Christian College. Natriana wants to be a business owner as well as a motivational speaker. She is a volunteer at American Cancer Society, and is a active member of The Eugene Lunchtime Mentor Program. Before joining Miss Oregon USA Natriana participated at Miss Nevada USA twice, she failed to place at Miss Nevada USA 2011 and was a semi finalist at Miss Nevada USA 2013.
