Chelsea Hardin representing East Oahu  was crowned as Miss Hawaii USA 2016 in a glittering ceremony that took place on 22nd November 2015 at the Hawaii Convention Center. Chelsea was crowned by Emma Wo the outgoing Miss Hawaii USA 2015. Chelsea will now represent Hawaii at Miss USA 2016 pageant next year. Julianne Chu was crowned as the first runner up where as Cierra Rauch bagged the second runner-up crown.  In the same event  was crowned as Miss Teen Hawaii USA 2016 she will represent Hawaii at Miss Teen USA 2016 pageant next year.

Hawaii has an amazing record at Miss USA pageant they have produced four Miss USA winners  Macel Wilson Miss USA 1962, Tanya Wilson Miss USA 1972, Judi Andersen Miss USA 1978 and first runner-up at Miss Universe 1978, and Miss Universe 1997 Brook Lee. Hawaii has produced one second runner-up crown and one fourth runner-ups crown and numerous semi finalist.

24 year old Chelsea hails from the capital city Honolulu. This 5ft 11in beauty has traveled to 11 countries spanning over four continents. She is  working  as a Curriculum Development Training at Hawaii Speed and Quickness. Chelsea has a degree in Anthropology in geography and minor in ethnic studies. She is a volleyball player and has received a scholarship for it. She believes her competitive spirit helped her win the pageant.
