Katerina Galiatsatou wins Miss Hellas 2015

Katerina Galiatsatou was crowned  as Miss Hellas 2015 in a casting call that was organized by Miss Star Hellas Organization. Katerina will now represent Greece at the 65th edition of Miss World which will take place on 19th December 2015 in Sanya, China. In the same event, Mikaela Fotiadis was crowned as Miss Star Hellas 2015 she will go on to represent Greece at the 64th edition of Miss Universe which will take place on 20th December 2015 at Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino in Las Vegas,Nevada.

Greece debuted at Miss World in 1952 with Virginia Petimezaki bagging the second runner up crown at that year’s Miss World pageant. Miss Greece 1954 Efi Melaand Miss Greece 1955 Julia Coumoundourou won back to back second runner up crowns at Miss World pageant. Miss Greece 1996 Irene Skliva  pulled of a surprise by winning the title of Miss World 1996 in Bangalore,India. Irene is the only women from Greece to have worn the crown of Miss World.  Although Irene Skliva’s win was a surprise, later she was highly loved by fans for her exquisite face and beautiful eyes.

22 year old Katerina hails from the city of Patras. She is a student of Philosophy and enjoys reading classic literature . Her mother is a doctor and her father is a businessman.She has appeared in many ads such as Mythos beer,Molto Croissant and as  sleeping beauty in advertisement for Nova .She has done photo shoots for various magazines in Greece. This Green eye beauty stands at 5’10 tall.She enjoys plays Volleyball and working out in the gym.The Late  Fashion Designer Michael Lew suggested her to join modelling and she agreed to it as it was great source of earning pocket money.
